Ninth creative writing short story submission of the year, going for twelve this year. It's been good to push myself, especially considering all my work up to this point has been novel length or longer.

Twenty-Four-Hour Video is a piece I wrote in the middle of the pandemic about censorship and mass surveillance, the complexities of balancing freedom of expression and art against abstract notions of common decency, and what happens when tyranny aligns with an individual's values.

I know most people do not want to subscribe to another Substack that reads like LinkedIn so I'm here to tell you that you don't have to! I'm publishing my backlog of printed and submitted fiction, book reviews, and nothing else!
