I'd so vote for a candidate that promised to make news boring again... that breaking news would happen maybe once a month instead of once an hour. Sick of people asking "are you paying attention"? Yes. Most often without my own consent. Your nervous system is being exploited for capital.

Watching leftists attempt civil conversations with maga folks on TikTok. They seem to prevail when they just stick to asking people questions instead of defending their own positions. A great campaign strategy might be just asking "is your mental health better now than it was 8 years ago?"

Yes and they will run directly at you until the very last second when they veer off to one side or the other. And you have to stay still because you don't know which way they're going to go and you don't want them to run into you. It's exhilarating and terrifying. They can turn on a dime.
