They told me to write and submit a new one.

Is it a storm inside,
the one beneath the spirit
seeker watching thunder
string along from sky to land to sky.

Or is it strung up outside,
unwound to make the future
go where it wasn't supposed to be
caught and thrown by whistling wind.

Pixel cat is on the stroll
searching for a sushi roll,
but it can't be found!

It has to know it's "owner"
sees it scrounging for the scraps,
what parsing of the pixels
make us up in Cyber Green,
a city of superstition, a city
growing old and newly serene.

Hanging On

We can't seem to find
the right space to stay
between one another
to give ourselves away.
But life is just the same—
looking for a bitter name
one that thinks like me,
one to carry on in this life

I made up a phrase called rubberbanding annihilation to describe being sucked into a black hole, and I haven't found anyone else who's used that phrase.
