Blame the Era of Good Feelings (post War of 1812) when Columbus was included in US history to create a separate origin story from the UK. Before that it was King Alfred, Battle of Hastings, Agincourt, etc, Columbus was an after thought to the Founders.

There was a reason the British brought in the Black and Tans in the Irish War of Independence. Due to shunning by the populace, many Irish members of the RIC quit. They were ostracized by society until they resigned.

Please help me out here. There was a term for Jews in a concentration camp who cooperated with the Nazis to keep the other inmates in line. Whatever that term was, this ICE agent is it. What kind of lowlife would do this to their own people.

Most people do not know that you can enter into a contract and stipulate whatever law the parties agree to. Many religious communities, Hasidic for example do this. Also important for international trade. You can base a contract on German law to be adjudicated in an Ohio court.

It is also a test on how well one understands contract law.

It is called a civil court. Two people can enter into a contract that is based on Sharia law. And Sharia would be used to determine if a contract was violated. This Florida provision would violate the parties to that contract First Amendment rights. It would be pure religious persecution.

Actually banning Sharia law violates the First Amendment. It would only be in a civil court in relation to contract disputes.

Because of the different libel laws, it still can be published in the US. Over there, Gerry Adams successfully sued someone for saying he was in the IRA. Like saying Eisenhower was in the Army.
