Hard to knock AD Erick Harper, but dismissing coach Kevin Kruger, IMO, is a bit hasty. Four years and no NCAA appearance, yes. But strange state of sport and difficult rebuild huge obstacles. Excellent coach should have been extended.

@detroitredwingsnhl.bsky.social are 10-4-1 under Todd McLellan. Still lots of holes, but improved puck management, overall defense noticeable. However, lack of team toughness huge flaw. Someone needed to hammer Kucherov after cheap play.

Beautiful Southern Nevada day for about a 3.5 mile hike on the Lee Canyon side of the mountain. Did the Big Sawmill Loop on the Sawmill Trailhead. No snow. Extremely dry.
