-post-death, Rahi'a feels shattered hearing Lamat'yi and Koana's grief. He is immediately triggered but he holds it together, a world of difference from his reactions to being triggered in Endwalker

-a part of it is how much he sees himself and Razeh in the siblings and also realizes he can be here for them now, he can make a difference where he was alone when he lost his parent

-he watches as Lamat'yi forces herself to push through and be a leader and his heart breaks

-at the scene on the beach, alisaie is not present. Rahi'a does all the talking, holding her face between his hands, and is firm about it.

-they leave to go sit on the docks by the residency. Rahi'a tells Lamat'yi of his loss, something he hadn't shared with her yet. As close as they have become - it still is something he prefers not to share unless a situation calls for it - and this one very much does. Lamat'yi recalls his tears at the Yok Huy grave and Rahi'a is surprised, and touched that she noticed and didn't pry. He will hold this in appreciation and love forever.
-Rahi'a tells Lamat'yi that there will be a lot of people - including her own mind/self, trying to dictate how she should feel.
"Never let anyone tell you how to feel. Not even yourself. When you need to cry, cry. When you're angry, be angry. When you're happy - know that he would want you to be happy. When you feel nothing at all, it's okay. It's okay. You aren't broken. But your heart is. And you have to live with that broken heart and take care of it like you would someone you love. But because I had love, people who stood by me through everything, even at my worst," (flashbacks of fights with yshtola and other scions and razeh) "I'm still here now." (He looks at her very seriously, as if to convey the depths of despair he'd reached before)
"And I will be here for you." (He takes her hand and holds it). "No matter what, Lamat'yi. I will stay by your side. Even when we might be apart. You need only to call upon me. I will be here."
