The absolute movie poster master. RIP, Drew.
Getting some Commodore 64 time in today!
There’s a CF card in it so period correct went out the window. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The guts of my Win95 pc I’ll be using at Geekenspiel: Four Corners:

FIC 503+ SS7 mobo
Pentium 233
128MB RAM
Matrox Millennium 2 8MB
Diamond Monster 3D (nos)
SB 16 (CT2900)
NEX XR385 (Yamaha XG) midi db
4GB SD card for boot drive
30GB Fireball for storage (nos)
Ah, thanks! The commercials on this tape are just chock full of 90s goodness.
Pretty neat Intel Pentium commercial. Forgive the quality - I’m recording it straight off my 1985 Fisher TV. This commercial aired May 23rd, 1994 with Star Trek: The Next Generation “All Good Things Pt 1” which I have recorded on VHS on that date. ✨
Here's the next PC I'll be adding to my retro setup at th Geekenspiel Four Corners office. ✨ Specs soon…
Should be open now. 👍🏼
Figured it’s also time to remove the plastic wrap off the glass… 👀
Probably more excited about his than I should be: finally upgrading the GPU in my 2017 PC (it was recently replaced by a new primary build). Out with the 1060 and in with the 3060ti. 😅 (i7-7700, 32GB RAM)
Great news! Hopefully the only deluge here will be new LGR content. 😉
Nice! Wish they would have offered red to begin with…
My 486 doesn’t have a pnp bios but the DOS functionality is fine. 👍🏼
Not a computer or a sticker but rather a sublime display of beauty at the end of my driveway yesterday…, ✨
I don’t quite remember Clint’s video on it. I’m running it in DOS mainly. Pretty sure the bios doesn’t support pnp though. I’ll double check.
Surprisingly straight forward. Works great!
😅 Yeah. My first Pentium 100 in 1996 had 16mb and it cost me an arm and a leg!
A little more detail on my 486 machine:
AMD DX4-120
32mb RAM
ATi Mach64 ISA 4mb
Orpheus II w Dreamblaster X16
I’ll post a photo of the inside today with some specs. 🙂
Yeah, I’m not sure why I skipped over that one since I have more designs for AMD than any other single brand. 🤔 Will definitely put that at the top of the to-do list.
Thanks Rik! This one was a nos unit I probably paid too much for on eBay a few years ago. 😉
My little retro setup at the Geekenspiel Four Corners office is coming along nicely!
