There is no difference with the ID you need to provide at any age.
I can see a use for one if u are travelling within the European Economic area.
But we can't do that for to brexit.
The idea of the police being able to ask u for ID without suspicion, is the loss of a human right.

That’s a civil offence, not a criminal one.
Be sure you have the tickets, it’s not hard.
Previously Labour wanted to charge for IDs.
It’s about rights that people died fighting for.
Don’t be so hasty to give them away.
If u want an ID, that’s fine.
Forcing IDs by law is something more sinister.

No you don’t!
You can provide Bank Cards and proofs of address.
Being forced by law to carry ID, infringes your rights.
A police officer can’t ask u for ID unless they have reasonable suspicion that a crime is being committed.
That in theory protects u and stops the unlawful Police actions.

This man, like his family, come from a family line that were involved land theft from the poor, 100s of years ago.
This land and the wealth it generates, needs to be returned to the people.

Why is nobody suggesting a universal health system, free for all?
If that Orange Dickhead can find money for vanity projects, he could find money to improve the lot of the poor.
If the rich are taxed, they remain rich.
If the poor are targeted, they end up in poverty.

This Labour Party is a disgrace.

We are heading into a very dangerous time.
I would support the Greens, but they seem to have little knowledge of international relations and Real Politik.

IDs are a white elephant.
They were the last time Labour tried this.
Why this Labour fixation with IDs?
One can only conclude, it’s about control.
If we need ID, there are means already in place.
One needs to ask, why do Governments need to track citizens even more so?
The answers are never good.
