Mother called local police to file a report—but even they couldn't find out he was in ICE custody until 6 days later.

It's especially worrying because the 15-year-old boy reportedly functions "like a 4-year-old child" due to his autism.

Do you have any Democrat Reps in your state? Try them, as they are far more compassionate than Republicans who usually will ignore their constituents in favor of trump' s commands.

keep membership on both sites. You must go to the top (i.e. both Congresspeople in your State and Senators.) These people are public reps so if you don't know who they are for your State just google the information to find out. good luck to you and your wife!

Start with the State you and Barbara are in. Write to the Congressperson or two or 3 whoever they are and if they are here on bluesky, even better; write here to them (do a search) ...By doing this in public it often helps get them off their asses to accommodate you.

Gov Pritzker: REF Lake Michigan:
You cannot reach Canada by any of the borders lake Michigan. You can reach Canada by lake Huron lake Ontario lake Superior and lake Erie. Lake Michigan is the one great lake that doesn't touch or come near to touching Canadian border.
