It seems to me that Netanyahu wants to erase Gazans as a people, if not by killing most or all of them, then by killing a lot of them and making their land unlivable, hoping to displace them. So what do you call THAT?

Looked at from another angle, though, if a male version of Bari Weiss - let's call him Barry Weiss - were named to the same position, with the same lack of journalistic experience, and the same partisan history, while the reaction would be as fierce, nobody would be trying to fob it off as misogyny.

Vance is not some rando off the street, he's a graduate of Yale Law School. He knows that what he's saying is the purest bullshit, that "failing to keep the people of Illinois safe" is 1) not true, and 2) not a crime.

I'm sure that Trump thinks that tariff revenues are "found money" that he can use as he likes. Why not? I mean the tariffs themselves are unconstitutional, so why not use the revenue unconstitutionally?

NYT reports that Letitia James’s great niece lives in the home that is the subject of the indictment.

The niece reportedly testified before a *different* grand jury, telling them that she had lived there for many years without paying rent. James visits regularly.
