I imagine that they spend a lot of time just chilling and being silly post-game, because they deserve all the time in the world together before what was historicly coming (even though I headcanon them running away together instead of, you know, dying).

I started priming paper for some oil studies and oh boy is it messy and time consuming. Maybe I should just get a canvas board next time. Still have no idea what I am doing✌️

I am a sucker for dyptychs, triptilychs and all sorts of matching pieces, this ones were actually drawn on the same canvas before I cropped them. They are meant to be together, just like our boys are 💛

Isn't drawing essentially just estimating where to put the lines for it to look good? :D I do relate with being slow at improving though. I think most people doubt themselves from time to time, no matter the skill, I am sure you will feel better about your drawing again soon.

My most recent embroidery I've made so far - this of Erik, one of my favorite characters <3 I was really happy to post this on isterik week on tumblr.

An embroidered image of Erik in portrait style. The top illustration is the dog that Erik killed when finding out that Istvan was killed. The left flowers are carnations which mean love, distinction, and motherly affection. The flowers were common in medieval manuscripts. I have them blooming healthily on the left and the right they are withered - aka Erik's mental state after Istvan's death.

Then I have Erik on his horse during the horse race with Godwin - I thought about putting Godwin too but decided not to. Then on the right I have when Istvan gave Erik the message for Sigismund since that's the last scene they had together.

Bottom left I had a house burning and a small Erik standing in front of it and mirroring it to the right we have a fully grown Erik standing in front of the burned remains of a house he's burned no doubt with Istvan. Bottom picture of course is Istvan's grave. The yellow all around is Ivy, a very common plant in manuscript work as well.

Henry is on the left in his outfit stolen from a guard that he's in when he kills Istvan and on the right is Istvan - his face in shadow of course because he died. The green bit above Istvan is a bloody footprint in grass - it doesn't quite come across but I kept it in cause it was fun.

A close up of the embroidery - of note - the halo is made of interlocking blanket stitches, the chainmail he is wearing is made of french knots. The rivets on his chest piece are silver beads. The filigree around the piece are split stitches.
