The word SHOULD has become such a heavy word. It has such a weight to carry. There are so very many things that should be done that aren't being done and won't be done. Sadly, we will all have to organize and force them to do what they should, just as we have every other time until now.

In this country, almost every positive change was brought about as a direct response to one injustice or another. Yes, good things begin during times of chaos like this. We know we'll be labeled as "terrorists" no matter what we do or DON'T do. So, let's do this, let's start some epic good trouble.

An army of citizens working toward one common goal, disciplined and organized, defending ourselves and one another, against those who threaten our civil liberties. Most people aren't trained for this anymore, but we will eventually get to that point, whether we start now or later.

Community outreach was an important key to their success. We need to reach one hand out to help one another and reach the other hand out to slap them in their dumb ass faces while we are at it. They are bigoted fools and we can't afford to put up with their violent, foolish behaviors.

I'm not offended by your opinion and you aren't wrong, we are in a state of chaos. The same was true when the Black Panthers created their organization too. Where there is a will, there is a way. We just have to be willing. What I'm saying is, you do you boo boo but our best shot is together.

We should all be forming a well regulated militia and exercising all of our rights, including the second. We can show everyone how it SHOULD be done. We have to defend ourselves and our liberties without becoming the people we despise. The Black Panthers did and they made a huge impact.

I don't try to control anyone else's choices, but I'd caution you (hopefully you don't mind), one person is easily dispatched by thugs like ICE. It's not effective as an "I" action but it could be as a "We" action. Getting organized and going out en masse gives us the best chance of success.

That may have been the stated concept and the purpose in other countries, but the police were originally tasked with running down escaped slaves in the US. So, you are right to hope the military will change their course and help the people. That is our only real chance to get out of this hellscape.

I don't relish it but they are leaving people with no choice. Their cruelty lends legitimacy to everyone who says, "They are going to kill us anyway. We may as well take them with us". They are practically digging their own graves with their cruelty. They'll die the way they live, by the sword.

Even though there are no words that can truly bring comfort when we experience loss like this and even though it SHOULD be preventable (and would be if this world were a better/ just place), we still try to comfort one another while we are in the middle of these times. 1/2

They will make it look like we aren't peaceful even if we remain peaceful throughout. They will attack us and they, and the media, will lie about it. That has always been their playbook. Still, we shouldn't avoid protest.

You might be correct about these dates but Britain paved the way for Israel to invade Palestine and helped them get there (supposedly there was a rise in anti-semitism in Britain at the time). As far as Britain antagonizing (in addition to stealing from) the whole world, definitely.

I specifically mentioned a time when the US started funding Israeli wars. I realize the US already supported Israeli migration to Palestine before they began funding Israeli terrorism. It's also possible I got the dates wrong since it's been about 20 years since I've been in a world history class.

No president who funded Israel should be celebrated as peaceful, agreed. However, the British were the ones who funded Israeli travel to Palestine in 1948. The US didn't start funding Israeli wars until 1968, under Kennedy.
