This is why missing out on even Europa or Conference League football the other season was such a kicker - not because either were high revenue competitions like the Champions’ League but because we missed out on gaining results in European competition.

Sad we have to look at things this way…

Coefficients are the biggest con going, designed to insulate big clubs from financial ruin/collapse if they fail on the pitch for a year or two (or more), falling out of European competition, whilst at the same time maximising the revenue for when they are in European competition.

Not that they will but SCOTUS should consider the petty reactionary thin-skinned nature of Trump’s decision-making on tariffs.

It’s clearly not about America First or Americans if he can take umbrage over an advert and decide to administer a punishment beating as a result.

I don’t really think the framers intended for a president to have the power to slap a tariff on products from a particular country because he didn’t like a TV commercial they ran about him, but I suppose it is presently up to the Supreme Ct to decide how far the Mad King can go.

Elanga was good when he came on. Makes me wonder whether he should’ve been eased in from the start of the season as a sub for Murphy rather than hoying him straight in 🤔

I’m also beginning to wonder if Fab gets back in again with Thiaw. What a superb buy he was - Christ knows why we waited so long!

That was a really good win. We stuck in there, kept at it and deserved it.

Some great performances too - I love Big Nick how he draws the opposition to him, retains the ball and offsides it, having occupied all those players. Unlucky not to score too.
