That’d definitely be another “we’re totally willing to disadvantage ourselves to disadvantage Newcastle” moments!

🤣
It’s also why it’s important - vital, even - we don’t miss out on European qualification for whichever competition this season.
This is why missing out on even Europa or Conference League football the other season was such a kicker - not because either were high revenue competitions like the Champions’ League but because we missed out on gaining results in European competition.

Sad we have to look at things this way…
Coefficients are the biggest con going, designed to insulate big clubs from financial ruin/collapse if they fail on the pitch for a year or two (or more), falling out of European competition, whilst at the same time maximising the revenue for when they are in European competition.

Rotten.
Turkeys voting for Thanksgiving over and over and over and over and over and over and over again…
Trump = ultimate snowflake behaviour
Not that they will but SCOTUS should consider the petty reactionary thin-skinned nature of Trump’s decision-making on tariffs.

It’s clearly not about America First or Americans if he can take umbrage over an advert and decide to administer a punishment beating as a result.

Snowflake behaviour.
I don’t really think the framers intended for a president to have the power to slap a tariff on products from a particular country because he didn’t like a TV commercial they ran about him, but I suppose it is presently up to the Supreme Ct to decide how far the Mad King can go.
*offloads it, autotype FFS!
That deal is looking better by the day…
Curious, eh? After the match, I heard Danny Murphy say that the Liverpool players look out of condition. Given they’ve all had pre-season at such a large club, how can that be?!
It’s likely also something Truss tried in her chaotic tenure and look what happened there…
“It wuz the smaller club wot did it “

😬
What a buy for the price he was! Looks totally at home in the PL.
Elanga was good when he came on. Makes me wonder whether he should’ve been eased in from the start of the season as a sub for Murphy rather than hoying him straight in 🤔

I’m also beginning to wonder if Fab gets back in again with Thiaw. What a superb buy he was - Christ knows why we waited so long!
That was a really good win. We stuck in there, kept at it and deserved it.

Some great performances too - I love Big Nick how he draws the opposition to him, retains the ball and offsides it, having occupied all those players. Unlucky not to score too.

BG is a real leader by example.

If you want to see the expected outcome of Farage’s savings drive, take a look at how it’s turning out for Argentina…

The US isn’t faring too much better from this misguided savings mentality either, unless you count robbing the people and businesses through tariffs as a boon.
He definitely crazy. The shameful thing is that MAGA morons will slurp his nonsense up and fervently repeat it as true believers.

It’s an insanity cult.
Just for the record, in 2020:
- Wray was the FBI director Trump handpicked to replace Comey
- Jack Smith was in the Hague prosecuting Kosovo war crimes
- Garland was an appeals court judge
- Monaco was in private practice in LA

There was no Biden administration yet, crooked or otherwise.

He crazy.
I wonder if the MAGA morons fervently believe his lies despite clear evidence dating back years that Reagan said those words?

(of course they do - they don’t believe Trump’s “grab ‘em by the pussy” talk, or him letching on that young girl on the escalator or his creepy talk about his own daughter)
WATCH: Trump blatantly lies that Canada faked the Reagan anti-tariffs ad (they didn’t) and claims Reagan supported tariffs (he didn’t)

With receipts
Bit of a theme here, mind…🤔
I’m pretty sure old Adolf was fond of neo-classical architecture too…

🤔
🤔

“Hitler was fascinated by the Roman empire and its architecture, which he imitated with a stripped-down style called ‘starved neo-Classicism.’”
Stephen Miller: "The scandal is how Democrats & the left scarred the landscape of our country w/grotesque so-called modern art that celebrates ugliness ... very importantly, President Trump is making sure it's in the neo-classical design around which our nation's architecture has long been directed"
