Also, I don’t want to grow old because we live in a world that doesn’t like older people. We live too long now, so we have our pensions postponed into the future - a sound punishment for daring to live longer healthier lives. Even though the government actively encourages us to live longer lives.

Also, I never stop hearing about young women hating their mother-in-laws. I’m glad I had a daughter and not a son so I don’t have to suffer the same indignity.

What I find jarring is that younger women can be (not all) so patronising and infantilising as well as dismissive of older women. When in my eyes, it’s the dumbest form of bigotry alive seen as we’ll all suffer the same fate eventually.

Watching some episodes of The Good Life and the subtitles are awful, full of errors with half the sentences missing. I don’t know whether it comes back them speaking too quickly. They were done about 20 years after the series ended back in 1993.

I never remember to do any cool down stretches when I finish a run. So when I’m walking about an hour or so later my legs kill. I look like I’ve never taken exercise and I’m just hobbling about.

Prepping myself for a run. Haven’t done much this morning, and I can feel a low mood coming on every time I think about the lack of work, money and the economy.

Running helps a little in keeping it at bay.
