yeah, when you look at baseball reference vs. fangraphs, it's really explicit. I've started to default more to Savant's metrics which rate Steer as "good, but probably less good than Olson", which is how I expect the vote to go.

I bake in ~25 gms out for him y/y. The thing is, is that he can still out produce most with that deficit. Give him a healthy year primarily DHing, but still getting OF eligibility and yeah, a 50 hr season is in there.

What falls out of my expectation is a malpractice misdiagnosed broken hand.

I remember when I moved out of Alexandria when I was like 23 I didn't realize I had to pay a prorated car tax bill for like 25 days of "time lived there". It went like 3 years until I tried to update my registration and the late fees were.... a lot. State ended up settling for the original like $45.
