Thank you for the information, I do not know of Meloni very well and had only read she would be supportive of maga politics, but it sounds like that is maybe not entirely accurate.

Maga cleaned out the Republican Party. Progressive dems can do the same. It won’t happen overnight, it’s a long game, but beating fascism isn’t going to happen overnight either.

They know that will cause a civil war. It’s exactly what DT wants, and it may be inevitable but, these governors are in a very tough decision. Either they light the match or this regime does. It’s a game of chicken at this point, and DT doesn’t care about any causalities, the Gov does.

I know a common maga talking point, and I’ve heard it at the ICE job fairs too, is that ICE always did this and the only reason we are hearing about it now is that ppl hate DT/all eyes are on them. We need more LE and former ICE speaking up to explain how this isn’t normal or acceptable.
