And Martha Ladly suggested the name for Orchestral Manoeuvres "Architecture and Morality" (the sleeve of which was designed by Peter Saville), played keyboards on a few tracks on The Associates "Sulk" as well as appearing several times on TOTP with them including the 'Party Fears Two' performances.

I actually force myself to watch the whole of TOTP98… to remind myself was I wasn't just being a grumpy old goth at the time. The charts really were mostly crap*.

*This also applies to the 70s and 80s programmes. We just filter out how bad most of the chart singles were. 😉

Watching the BBC2 Hits of 1975 and Lulu with "The Man With The Golden Gun".

Vocals and music are written out of sync and it's genius.

Like "Tomorrow Never Dies" by Sheryl Crow, it's unfairly overlooked as a great Bond theme.
