The through line between ZZ and Char's Counterattack is that the Earth Federation - despite being in a position where they would reasonably be jumping at the opportunity to make up for the colossal blunder known as the Titans - remain comically ineffectual and self-serving

I'm gonna watch Char's Counterattack tomorrow night. I've already seen it (like 3 times lol), but never with the context of ALL of that came before it. I don't know what of my thoughts - if any - will change as a result, but I'm digging in regardless.
