Words cannot possibly express the gratitude we have to athletes, colleagues, friends, and family for the outpouring of support we have received since Leslie passed away last Monday, May 25th.

These are my go-to papers. The A5 C.D. notebook paper is available both lined and unlined.

Something I've observed over the past few weeks, especially when teams are trying to "carve", or accentuate curl.

But I would really like to thank Mort Cooper, Jennifer Ferris, ChPC, John Newhook, and most especially my mentor coach, Gary Crossley, who has forgotten more about coaching than I’ve ever learned. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

There are far too many to mention but a list would have to include Jason Rice, Lori Eddy, Maurice Wilson, Byron Scott, Pat Simmons, Jill Officer OLY, Matt Wilkinson, Karen Watson, Andrea Ronnebeck, Travis Brown, Perry Marshall, John Gabel, Michel Ladouceur, and Gerry Peckham.

I have been very blessed to work with a number of outstanding coaches and instructors over the years, both within and outside of Ontario. Through the years many of these have become my friends and from whom I have learned a great deal.

I was tremendously honoured to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Builder category from Curling Ontario this past weekend, presented during the Association's AGM in Cobourg, ON.

Many thanks to Ian Tetley and his staff at Oakville Curling for hosting the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard this weekend. While Team Lovitt didn’t qualify for playoffs we had a terrific first event of the season. Best wishes to all of the remaining teams still in the hunt!

Just received this ONOTO Scholar fountain pen from Cult Pens in the UK. Navy with gold accents, its fine nib writes smoothly and beautifully. A new favourite.

The three shops that I utilize the most for stationery are (1) Phidon Pens in Cambridge, (2) Take Note Pen Shop in Toronto, and (3) Laywine’s in Toronto.

Looking forward to testing the new Balance Plus “grey” foam at practice over the next two weeks, now that Team Lovitt has ice at KW Granite and at Oakville.

Little to choose between the Leonardo (Fine nib) and the other quality pens I own that come with their own nibs (Pelikan M800, Sailor 1911L, Esterbrook Estie). Closest to my Pelikan M800, I think, similar barrel diameter but not as heavy. Beautiful to write with.

Just received this lovely Leonardo Momento Magico fountain pen from @laywines.bsky.social in Toronto. Piston filler, inked with Diamine Majestic Blue, my favourite ink. Writes beautifully. The size fits my hand well and I love the ink window on the barrel. Beautiful pen.

What began with 55 push-ups from The Curling Group’s CEO (and a $1 donation for every rep) has ignited a global curling challenge in support of charity.

Now, the world’s top curlers are dropping down and stepping up — one push-up at a time. 💪

Here at the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS at Toronto’s Ash Bridges Park with Sarah Leung of Team Lovitt today. Really appreciate Sarah being one of the volunteers here today. 💕

Many thanks to friends and family who have donated to ALS Canada in Leslie’s memory this year.

It comes with an ink cartridge, not a converter. Fortunately, I had a standard European converter (diameter greater than a Waterman) on hand and it fit perfectly. Currently inked with Diamine Blue-Black.

Newly acquired, this Kyoto Elegance Yamanaka fountain pen from Celsius, and sold by Komorebi Stationery. Comes with a Schmidt Iridium fine nib, which interestingly writes much smoother than some of my other pens with Iridium nibs. Beautiful pen and I appreciate the heft of the metal body.
