It's a very good album but I think that the fact it was quite new at the time along with being quite mid paced made it hard to build up the atmosphere

Maybe if they hadn't played it all in one go it may not have been quite a subdued reaction
And saying I love it is pushing it quite a bit, all I said was it's the best of their reunion albums
But it's catchy

I haven't listened to it in a good ten years or so
For me it's probably my second favourite album they've released since the reunion
I may have possibly read about this before

Anyhow, I'm too busy counting down the days until I get to leave a gig before the headliners come on
I should also add that the Dublin show for AMOLAD was only 3 or 4 days before Christmas so the city was buzzing

Dickinson could have farted for an hour and a half and it still would have been a great night's craic

The show got in the way of the drinking to be fair
And going back to the point Tez made about Testament, it is Chuck and Eric who control the band and do the writing

They're possibly like Megadeth where Mustaine is the only full time member and the others are paid employees with no real input
That every few years

That'll explain why the last few times I've seen them it's been the greatest hits shows and skipped the last few album tours
I was at their Dublin show and knew it was getting played but not sure if that's just because of how long the tour had been on for at that point

I do kind of admire that though

I remember Harris saying they'll always support the new album but if you want the greatest hits they'll do a tour like
True mate

It's probably the opposite of what it used to be when you toured to support an album whereas now the album is an excuse to tour
I'll have to look and see if there are any photos of my old bedroom, it was pretty much wall to wall Megadeth posters and adverts with the odd Danzig and Maiden one thrown in
I had a sticker of that Lita pic in my boombox and one of Jan from Vixen

To this day I don't think I've ever heard a single Vixen song
For all of that I'm just happy enough for them to put out decent albums

Obviously if they can release a modern day masterpiece which it would appear Coroner have done then that's even better

Unfortunately Metallica and Slayer with Relentless can't even do that
Oh definitely mate. I mean the reasonably newer bands seem to think copying Exodus is the way to go

I completely agree, that said I think Anthrax have been the best of the bunch but again, they're taking years between albums to release new stuff

Not sure what Metallica's excuse is though
This is part of why this is so good. It's exactly what fans of theirs would want from them and that is not to rest on the laurels and be inventive

Too many of the newer bands think rehashing old Exodus riffs is the way to go, seemingly forgetting that 99% of Exodus recorded output is shit
#BigGavPlays Sabaton - Legends

Completely forgot that this was coming out

Thoroughly enjoyed it, the most I've enjoyed a new album from them in some time

#MetalSky #MusicSky #HeavyMetal
I'll check them out mate
Has to be the close up of the face
Good man yourself
I think you should go for the Risk or Load covers
