I implemented a circular buffer on the second SH2, allowing me to queue procedures that the second CPU processes one after another without my intervention. Here it was previously running at 20 FPS. Video recorded on a stock Saturn
I had a timeline sequencer that could control the behavior of objects. This was used for things like platforms. Finally added the camera so now I can have cinematics too :). This shows Blender->Saturn export #retrogaming#indiedev#segasaturn
There are still a few minor glitches to work out. I'm not using the GTE at all. Once that is implemented, it should lead to a significant performance boost.
