tbh as beautiful written this book is, i am happy when this story is over (and with it the book). i need to read something which doesn't hit so hard reality-wise. ;;; some fictional horror or a fantasy book.

what i want to say is that it was always sad to read such stories, but still easier bc it was a thing of the past. but it is now harder to read, since it's a current reality in a different region. 💦

it's about the start of the n*zi germany and the mistreatment of every non-german. hitting pretty hard bc the same shit is happening in a certain other country RIGHT NOW. like... this isn't anymore something of the past, bc it is currently happening again. 😔

i thought it is normal? in germany we put ketchup and dried onion flakes on it. sometimes even red & yellow, aka ketchup and mustard.
