Hen and Wren.
Ink and gouache on Fabriano Medioevalis, approximately 95 × 64 mm.

Drawing in black ink, primarily in silhouette, of a hen and a Wren regarding each other quizzically. The hen stands in a patch of wild grasses whilst the wren perches on a small, leafless shrub in front of her. The hen's comb and wattle are the only touch of red gouache. The drawing is finely wrought and intricate. The piece is roughly the size of a business card.

I made it so that it matched my hair at the time (that was the time people were cutting their hair and I found my excuse to finally do so).

They have longer hair now, but I like this version a lot. Kinda goblin :)
