I made a huge pot the other night. I got my cooking instinct from my grandmother, which means I only know how to cook for like 10 people, instead of one, so I definitely have leftovers all the time. Stew does freeze well! Not sure about ramen, but let me know if it works.

Thanks! I really just like to mess around and learn new things. I’m in the process of reinventing myself. Recently, I’ve been trying to learn things that I used to think were unapproachable, and oil painting is one. This is just an under painting, and the final will be in color… probably 😂.

Today’s lesson: try my first imprimatura. Still using the reference image from the last painting (though I did some B&W shade value tests yesterday too). This was interesting, and it really helps me get an understanding for how reversible the paint can be.
