decided to go jeans and a tshirt mode at work because it was friday and it wasn't really a problem but i wore my ranged touch tshirt without thinking and so had to explain the philosophy of michel foucault to three different clients.

i guess the thing about this explanation is that if you believe he's a liar and spiteful, why would you not only keep him around in the expedition but also trust everything he says from then on? they have a whole scene with maelle about how everyone still accepts him as a comrade.

Just been thinking lately how the official Sisters of Silence look kind of shitty but for $5 more you could get literally twice as many Sisters of Battle, paint them Custodes colors, sculpt some shoulder pelts, give them all the same weapons and go yeah here's my Sisters.

Between stuff like the Forge World resin models that cost ten million dollars or the weird aesthetic gaps like no official female Custodian models and the official Shield Captains being just normal guys you point at and say "that's a Shield Captain," there's a lot of room to do your own thing.

Lately I've been thinking about a bunch of kitbash ideas I could do to start expanding out my Custodes collection. Custodes feels like a very good faction for this kind of stuff because the base Custodian model is solid but the second you step out into the wider range you immediately hit problems.
