A point which emerges here, but I don’t think was widely known then, is that Militant was an insurgency. Could Kinnock have called it out as such, and said that Liverpool wasn’t a Labour council, and that Hatton & Co could not vote in the Conference?

Just wondering if the issue is around the word ‘create’. Does he mean he merely had an understanding that he gave them a purely beneficial interest, but did no structuring around that? If so, why didn’t he just make it a tenancy at will. After all, he knew what his will was.

I never drove a GSA, but my GS 1222cc car had a wonderful gear change. It also floated along the motorway like it was travelling 20mph slower than it was. Lovely car.

I’m sorry, but the pro-growth approach might work (though probably not) if the threshold went to £200k/£250k. Just £100k makes no difference and is pure virtue signalling.
