A problem called B soldier is recruiting volunteers with certain attributes, and that are comfortable with being transformed.

There’s a joke at the beginning after accepting that he needs to eat as much as possible to have the mass and energy for the beginning of the transformation.

Other: The opening starts Feb 2033. The president was killed in 2031. Then the VP and ceo of Oracle took over as president. The Judiciary arm of the federal government was eradicated due to holding up the executive branch from seeking those responsible. It was replaced by an AI system named Olga.

The injury is still impacting a scarred spinal cord. Next we see a prosthetic pack healing onto the protagonist back. There’s a neurological to machine interface, then an emergency parachute, and last an integrated flight and weapons system.

Part two: A young teenage human boy is crying at the fallen soldier’s bedside. He calls him father. Later the dragon is in physical therapy with an aid. The wings have been blown off. There’s a large star sized scar on his back. He is having trouble walking.
