The port of Genoa and its gulf stretch before me, quiet in this moment, as I sit on my balcony with a glass of red wine in hand. Soon, the Christmas and New Year celebrations will light up the season, and this year, heavy with wars and conflicts, will fade into its final rest...
"Magnetic Fluids"
A mixed-media op art piece featuring optical and kinetic effects: by focusing on the concentric golden rings, you may perceive a vibrating, fluid-like motion moving around.
Available as premium prints and canvases in my online gallery: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/1198...
A fan just shared this amazing photo with me—my optical artwork Master of Numbers featured at the Museum of Illusions in Doha, Qatar!
This piece merges mystery with the brilliance of Einstein’s legacy. It’s available as high-quality prints in my gallery: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/2207...
From Hate to Pity
Sometimes, with a little distance, you end up feeling pity for the people who’ve wronged you. It’s not really about understanding them, but more about feeling sorry for their stupidity. You start to realize that for some people, even being hated would almost be a badge of honor.
Fermat thought he’d found a formula that generated only primes.
But after his death, Euler disproved him by factoring the "fifth Fermat prime":
2^(2^5) + 1 = 2³² + 1 = 4,294,967,297
Turns out, it’s not prime:
641 × 6,700,417
Only the first 5 Fermat numbers are prime. Beyond that, they’re composite.

Life must go on...

Rosa Camfield, pictured here holding her great-granddaughter, was a teacher born in 1913 who spent much of her life in Michigan. Life is a strange journey where one day feels like a thousand years, and a thousand years like a single day.
An example of an average dad who would do anything, as long as it makes his little one laugh. Because, in the end, isn't that the true meaning of life?
This is one of my many variations of the dynamic Müller-Lyer illusion. All the radial color segments are always the same length, and it features a striking dynamic 'neon color spreading' effect.

Transforming a series of concentric circles (A) by sliding the CENTER of each along a line, which can be straight, curved, or broken, forming shapes like a circle, a triangle, etc., or, as in our case, a square (B). The final configuration will create a spiral appearance (C).
Season's Greetings!
Wishing you an amazing Holiday Season with your loved ones. Check out one of my latest optical illusions of the year. And yes, you read that correctly—there’s NO RED in this picture, only shades of gray and green!
The web before the net: a tangled mess of telephone lines at a Pratt, Kansas intersection, USA, 1911.
Fish like glass catfish, lanternfish, and deep-sea species use transparency to help them survive in environments full of predators. By being transparent, they can avoid the need for complex coloring or camouflage, which saves energy and allows them to stay hidden or move more quietly.

Mathematics in motion, a symphony of tiling and pattern. Like a serpent shedding its skin, transformation unfolds—endlessly renewing, eternally mesmerizing.
