Actually the funniest part of the show was that Maher has no idea people do haunted houses on Halloween for fun. There was one in my hometown growing up that ran for years, and he grew up on the other side of the state line. Didn't they do that in Jersey? Or is all that weed killing his memory?

And Halloween Night movie is out of left field: I Saw The TV Glow is a surreal, ambient, interstitial look at coming of age in the time of TV on demand. Very slow, but it enchants and disturbs in equal amounts as time goes by.
I wonder if they did whole episodes of the TV show within the movie? :o
