I set some new fitness goals for myself and have also been doing this 21 day challenges for my knees and left shoulder, which are feeling a lot better. Tonight Lucy mentioned I am getting stronger due to lifting heavier 🏋️‍♂️. Now thats how you work it! #getting💪, #gymotivation🏋️‍♂️🥇🤙, #happypridemonth🏳️‍🌈.

I haven’t lifted weights in 2 weeks due to traveling! I made it to the gym today and was able to 🏋️‍♀️. I am so glad my left shoulder is ok as well as my knees. On Monday I resume my personal training sessions with Lucy at Anytime Fitness. It’s 🏳️‍🌈 Pride Month! Haaayyy!
A few of us went to Peggy’s Cove for the afternoon. We then decided to have fresh Atlantic lobster for dinner at Sou’Wester Gift & Restaurant. What a fabulous day we had!

I made it to the gym this morning! My left knee is doing ok! My left shoulder is a bit sore, but I did some shoulder warmups stretches before lifting 🏋️‍♀️ I see my trainer Lucy two times this week. #lifting🏋️‍♀️, #workingonfeeling💪.

While in Puerto Vallarta I hurt my knee when I went swimming in the ocean. I was so sore so I saw my doctor who sent me for an X-ray. Thank god nothing was broken! I took about 2 weeks off from lifting 🏋️‍♀️. This week I met my trainer Lucy at Anytime Fitness and have resumed my strength training.
Well I just booked a hotel room for the upcoming WIPCE 2025 conference. I am looking forward to spending time with my Indigenous brothers and sisters, and traditional knowledge holder’s, from around the globe. I will be in New Zealand for 3 weeks!

Last day in paradise. My flight is delayed! Oh well nothing I can do about it so I may as well go have breakfast or early lunch. The hotel has allowed us to hold our luggage until we head to airport. ❤️PV.
Day 5 in Puerto Vallarta. I am going for breakfast and then heading to the beach for suntanning. I❤️PV!
Day 3 in Puerto Vallarta. Today we went suntanning and swimming in the ocean.This evening we went on Pegaso Sunset Sailing Tours. When we were out on the ocean, a mother humpback whale and her baby were jumping out of the ocean! On Monday we’re going for massages and facials and shopping. I ❤️ PV!

Woohoo! I just booked my flight to New Zealand to attend the World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Education (WIPCE). I hope to present my MA research findings on Nlaka’pamux Justice Systems.
