That is interesting! I never knew that in ancient times that's what they did to the trees. No, here in Canada the trees do not grow this way. I was hiking along the trails in the forest near my house and I noticed that someone had decorated the tree. I thought that it was like art so took a photo.

Ai, olet Helsingissä. Olen parin tunnin päässä Torontosta. Täällä sataa paljon lunta, mikä on mukavaa. Se tekee myös yöstä kirkkaampaa, kun kuu ja katuvalot heijastuvat lumesta. Tiedän, että olet tottunut lyhyempiin päiviin, mutta varmasti se alkaa olla rankkaa parin kuukauden kuluttua?
