SPX isn't the stock market. Plus, the total return of SPX has crushed gold. You're cherry picking data by picking 2000 as your starting date...bubble market high when gold was out of favor. That said, I do own GLD and am very happy. But hyping it at all time highs is shady, at best.

I'm excited. This is the best time of the year. Everyone has a perfect record and it's fun watching all these young punks try to make their bones. Also loved watching Sonny flying around for at least a few minutes.

Things were moving really quickly for those of us that like progress. Marriage equality, then Me Too, Black Lives Matter, Trans is a thing that you don't need to fear or hate, etc. It's not a surprise that people who are scared by they're Team Trump.
