1/2Hi Sarah, so the general idea is that labelling that says a plant is ‘bee friendly’ is because the species of the plant is. But if it’s not organically grown then chemicals are used and generally that means bulbs (and often seeds and plants) are treated with chemicals to stop fungus and pests

The front pages of the newspapers today sum up Dr #JaneGoodall DBE so well: amongst a world of scandal, sensationalism and political upheaval, Jane’s grace and empathy shines as a beacon of reason and wisdom. #RememberingJane

First bird of my day: a female sparrow peeping out of the thatch, dedicated to the profoundly important and unique Dr #JaneGoodall DBE. I imagine the animal kingdom flocking to pay their respects to their greatest voice. #FirstBirdOfMyDay #WhatsYours

Wonderful!.. although these will be swallows - who are also incredible, and live similar lives to swifts and house martins and are also site loyal so your adult birds you helped, if they survived, will return to your garage in April after having flown all the way to central/South Africa and back!

We’ve got weeks to convince people we elected that we dont want to be the 1st country to lose swifts esp when mandating a brick with a hole as we ‘build baby build’ would secure their homes. Email me at [email protected] to get a template to send to your MP
