This is funny to me bc I'm not even against the notion of hegemonical USAmerican cultural imperialism. In fact I'm very aware of it. However. My angsty D&D OC backstory takes place in a fictional setting with a fictional culture, and does not reflect the sociopolitical climate I myself grew up in. 🫡
