They did in 2003 during protests after the Iraq invasion. That's more than 20 years ago, but I haven't forgotten

"No Kings" turned out to be totally peaceful on both sides, but you can't be sure of that before you go

Insurance defense lawyers (like Halligan was) never deal with press and routinely get everything declared "off the record" retroactively using protective orders and nondisclosure agreements

Of course those only extend to people who settle claims, but a habit of concealment is hard to break

As a lawyer I worked on many cases where the police shot people.

I even worked on this one, even though it happened long ago, because one of the officers involved confessed in the 90s that they covered it up.

For someone who claims to promote "historical materialism", your grasp of the history of the White House is rather superficial.

The East Wing was added during WW2 to house offices for Eleanor Roosevelt's staff and her projects in civil and human rights.

It serves as the visitors' entrance

Who knows? Maybe Ms. Martin isn't up to the job, despite the support of her constituents.
