Czechoslovakian sine waves? Tesla magic

:thread:by @coyotescalling.bsky.social
Trying to get the Metrix U61B to work w/ 9 pin tubes. Socket on Camembert 1…bad connection. Heater won’t get voltage. Camembert 2… same issue until cleaning but also has a better socket. Heat shield in the way. After some force…now it works.
Happy low kwality suit Saturday

2 nice NOS RCA 6v6GTA 9/1960.

Tv10 and the Metrix U61B agree
I tried so hard to find something about them but got absolute nothing. Wans know how they come up with such a name

осциллограф с1-35/ c1-35 oscilloscope first tests.

The Teslas mysterious “sine” wave has successfully been found

Tek 69 with the Tek clone
That’s what my friend also said. There’s a single tube in this scope other than the crt but besides that is all transistor. Only a few paper caps got changed
I’ll check when I’m home and can better look at the schematic and try and figure it out. transistors/ switch modes aren’t my cup of tea
осциллограф с1-35 / oscilloscope c1-35 made in the Ukraine 1969. A very overbuilt and extremely well built Soviet military scope similar to a Tek 321a. Can run on 220/115v ac or 26/14v dc, max 5Mhz for the bandwidth. Thank you for shipping it safely @darekyl.bsky.social
Testing 2x 6k6 for a certain creature and his Vtvm.

Function again

Anode voltage ✔️
Finnegan is very (un)threatening. The solution was to use the paper press and turn him into a lawn ornament because it is more scary.

That is all.

Everything was well packed and yes the copper monstrosity destroyed nothing but spinal cords lifting it
1961 Drager Romulus narkoseapparat complete. 40 something pounds of chunky copper

A very nice 50s Unigor 3 from a stinky yeen @voltagehyena.bsky.social
Double checking measurements with the cinder block
Long overdue Neuberger RPM370-1 function test.
Mash all Monday + the Marshall mutt
Never posted the completed resto of this. C1958-59? Drager Fabius M / "Feldgroß" Nargoseapparat. A field use variant of the normal Fabius originally designed for the Bundeswehr / Civil Defense. Somehow this was exported to Peru. Sat in storage its whole life well preserved.
Haha its 70 years old and runs like a top. When it complains I'll do something about it.

I can only imagine the smells..
Yesss the stinkers. I love them
Good yoting

0 effort suit Saturday

Glorious Siemens Selenium Rectifiers.

🧵 @coyotescalling.bsky.social
I would but I'll keep them either as solder practice or just so I have reference as what parts/value were in it originally. Already have bumble bee caps in my guitars anyways...they just look pretty and dont sting me
