The Wizard of Oz (1939)

No big surprise that this film makes top 10 lists year after year! (It tops my list.) Both Glinda & the Wicked Witch are standard bearers of witch representation in the US.

Going back in time, this movie is a Hollywood classic and a witch movie classic all at the same time. And with its famous cat Pyewacket, its no wonder its always highly ranked.

This was another game changer. It was the gateway into Satanic witchcraft horror that would reign supreme into the 1970s. The Castevets love their mousse a bit chalky.

This was a game changer. Samantha, Endora, all the Darrins & the rest of the cast bridged the gap between old school TV & what was to come.
