Rune Factory 5 is a bit polarizing due to its performance issues, so if you do play it I suggest doing it on a Switch 2 or PC if that is available to you. If you haven’t played 3, 4, or Azuma I suggest you start with those first. I personally did enjoy 5, but it depends on what you prioritize.

It is easy to forget that not only does Azuma takes place after Rune Factory 5, but that even since the first game (which is what? Like maybe 100 years ago in the timeline at this point?) the Sechs empire had like industrial tanks, and robots, and a ton of other technological advancements.

Since part of the appeal of the game is the fact that the killer is randomly selected each playthrough, I’d imagine that to get the full experience you would need to go through multiple runs of the game. In this case: How long would you say each run would last?
