Omg these TWO POOR GUYS pushed our washing machine 80m uphill 🤩🏆

(Because *of course* the road entrance was blocked by Massive Digger)

I heard Lusha boofing and thought uuhh, maybe delivery?

It was 2 guys heaving the thing up our steep driveway. They got a tip and a Monster Energy each.

This morning I have:

- No water
- No delivery
- No vet appointment.

After getting ready for 9am, the guy rang to say he'd now arrive *at the same time* as changed appt 🤪

I should have stuck w 9am..

(Mina is better, though her sister is now croaking. Great. I've kept other cats separate in case)

We've also stockpiled bottled water.

Because this has been happening on and off all summer..

(Mains replacement in several parts of town, water off for hrs quite frequently)

I've lived on a building site, a cold damp cottage in a Scottish bog, and the many horrors of cheap rentals. I've seen worse. Just wish it wasn't happening *now* 😮‍💨

(Kinda get why this happened. Roadworks are supposed to be finished tomorrow.. They were probably pressed on to make target)

Still no water. Unlikely to come back on in the morning.

(There's a blood great big hole in the road below mine - Water Mains replacement )

Yet the water switched off at 5PM! Why do that *right before* you pack up for the day?

Guess I'm NOT getting a shower before tomorrows fun problems..

Also managed to move Mina's vet appt tomorrow.

(I just know the delivery will go sideways if am not here. Because that's happened..)

Few trucks can get up our road when NOT blocked by diggers / ongoing roadworks.

I've had to push stuff uphill in a wheelbarrow more than once.

Late Dumpling report - Had to do errands between feeds and race home. Yay! Now I want to collapse and sleep for 1000yrs..

Oh hey, it never ends. Need vet appt for Mina.

Vet fully booked today/Fri. Can't get appt elsewhere, rang back and got 9am.

..Same time as delivery up our narrow steep road, w roadworks now blocking the bottom.

I am not leaving my mother alone to deal w this.

At least the Customs form worked - but took some figuring out.

The 1kg min weight is concerning - my tiny light items are sent cheaply by Letter.

Colissimo is prohibitively expensive

Petit Pacquet is also too costly for small value items.

Really hope this is a code bug, not policy going fwd 🫠

(Bug or indicative that Airmail Letter won't be allowed for merchandise?)

Bug - if you fill in all fields, THEN need to alter one (eg weight being wrongly rounded up), any alteration freezes the Next button.

Going Previous / Next didn't work. I had to reload the whole form, and start from scratch.

- Contents page dropdown menu has Java variable for a name

Weaning will begin Friday - I need to do errands tomorrow, and buy more supplies for them.

Mina can meow today - the rustiest, gravelly croak.

She is eating, drinking ok but hacking up stress-drool everywhere. Which I could do without 😩

It's bloody raining hard. So no decompression walk today.

Byron's tail doubled in size since Monday, and the legs shot out some more.

He is a whopping 594g (+48!)

Rapidly catching up to his sister. In size too, I can't tell them apart as easily..

Today's dumpling report and good news!

Byron is 536g, and oh the legs look *longer*. No more dumpling, you look like a cat.

Certainly using them - he scoots everywhere madly, chases and wrestles his sister.

So, weight loss to power growth spurt??

Thank you. I am running on fumes, everything going sideways this month, then suddenly.. Very Tiny Sad Kitten Blobs. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. Receiving fantastic help online, but still no idea wtf I'm doing. With other plates to spin and it just. Does not. Let Up. 👍🔥🔥 He he he

- Mina: I bought her fave SHEBA and she finally ATE. Yay! One less cat to worry about.

- The boy kitten, it was gently pointed out to me that:
he is more active now, and Did He Do A Big 💩 before weighing?? Why yes. Yes he did. 😂 Could that be why.

I am panicking / over-thinking things again..
