Messed with it a bit more, trying to fix the Maneuver, which is intended for use in close-quarters naval combat.

Err, ignore the 'low/medium/high' part of the cargo capacity, please.

'Stability' is intended to be a measure of how well it handles rough waters.

'Maneuver'... is probably entirely wrong. I was trying to make something useful for ship vs ship movements, but it's definitely wrong there then.

Any renaissance boat nerds out there care to take a look at a table and tell me if I'm way off base? I have to generalize to some degree, just let me know if stuff looks crazy I guess?

This is for a tabletop game set in (effectively) renaissance Italy.

This would be a fantastic story seed, and not just because it reminds me of a book I read once that I quite enjoyed. (even if the final books in the series made me bawl my eyes out)

But when one kid is making 100s pre-curve… it kinda throws the entire system out of whack. He had to change his system.

He also ‘curved’ his tests… by which I mean whoever scored highest got extra points to make their score a 100 and the rest of the class also got that many points added to their score.

It still cracks me up a little that he was teaching the ‘easiest’ computer science class that people took to complete their 1 comp sci credit requirement…. meanwhile I took it because I was determined to take every single compsci class offered.

I had a teacher in high school who would put difficult questions on a test, then use only the best X answers you gave to calculate your score.

This resulted in the people who actually studied getting 100s and those who didn’t falling catastrophically.

Got trapped in Pallet Town and Viridian in a giant async randomizer. Couldn't progress without Oak's Parcel. So... I improvised.

Today is... not awful.

Family member I've been taking care of is maybe recovered enough to need less direct help going forward, and I managed to motivate myself to take care of something "do TODAY" important I've been procrastinating for nearly a week.

The next thing to pop into my head after this was: if I had this much trouble fitting the Bulbasaur line onto a single card, how would I handle eevee?

The answer I came to was to split it by generation. Still, 4 pokemon on the Gen 1 Eevee card was a squish. Little room for move effects.
