last time I made a satirical movie poster overpaint someone asked me how I create non-existent letters from existing logotypes. if you’re out there… it’s kinda like this

Original Schwarzkopf gmbh logotype at top left. If a font is internally consistent enough, you can get far just flipping existing letters horizontally or vertically. Not quite happy with the proportions of the result yet, and the font itself can only tell me so much about placing accents.

It doesn’t do a very good job of making you care about its world. It feels like it expects you already do, and no pathos-building is required. It felt tonally in media res, if not in narrative fact.
