The boy was relentless.

I got a pit in my stomach as I heard, “no son of mine is going to wear a dress! How about Spiderman?” No. He wanted to wear a dress. “Mermaid!” No. “Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz!” No. “You are not wearing a dress.”
