We acquired British citizenship as an insurance against Brexit, but we left in 2019. Because if you are a 'terrorist', for example your accountant makes an honest mistake in your tax return, you can loose your citizenship 'on file' without even knowing about it. ILR? Get the heck out now.

Consequently entity 1 has to pay licence fees for using the patents to entity 2.
The licence fees are deductible before tax in country A, and licence fee income has only to be taxed in country B with the lower tax base. /end

It's also a very old tax evasion trick. Company legal entity 1 is based in country A, with a high tax base, but also a lot of subsidies for R&D. So R&D is done in country A.
Company legal entity 2 is in country B with a low tax base.
So the patents are registered in country B. /1

Cancer treatment times were even back in the good old days (pre Brexit) at best a European average.
World best this - world best that, typical British exceptionalism.
And this is not due to the NHS workforce, but due to the continuous underfunding since at least Thatcher.

Did more than enough in my lifetime. Was a not only a member but held also positions on the regional level for the CDU. Was also a member and held functions in a Trade Union.
Went on demonstrations in the UK.
