Today is Indigenous Peoples Day!

In 2015, Hillsborough joined the Tribal Council of the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation in recognizing the second Monday in October as Indigenous Peoples Day.

Our Star this Saturday is Rod Jones!

Rod received a town innovation award this spring for saving the town about $100,000 in future elevator replacement costs at the Police Station.

The facilities coordinator makes sure the buildings owned by the town are safe, functional and well-maintained.

The Town of Hillsborough will begin its seasonal collection of loose leaves in November. Between November and the end of January, Hillsborough residents can rake their leaves to the side of the street for collection.
