Today we said goodbye to the greatest FPL playing cat that ever lived. My best friend for 16 years. Those of you who have followed me for a while on X will know how big a part of my life he was.

He died in my arms giving me one last kiss. We will never forget him. Our boy. Richard Hawley.

I probably wouldn't actually bench Semenyo. I'm assuming I'll have an injury by then...
hindumonkey.bsky.social
What do we reckon, on paper, is a better bench boost?

GW9 FIRST
GW11 SECOND

Favouring 9 but double Palace attack v my double Arsenal defence is only going to go one way or the other 😆
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Honestly think Bowen is the biggest sleeper transfer/WC pick for the next 4.

Could all go wrong, but its a perfect alignment of fixtures, new manager, talisman and proven pedigree. All coupled with low ownership v players who all have European commitments.
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Im on a wildcard so obviously I can. But the main issue is I have to use my BB and ideally want to do it week 9 (11 at a push). So spreading the funds a little makes that look better rather than having bench fodder to afford Saka.
hindumonkey.bsky.social
I will haunt you if you're wrong
hindumonkey.bsky.social
I did consider this tbf

Niggles worry me and I think he misses some games
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Eze or Kudus on wildcard

(Will have Gabriel and Timber and cannot get to Saka)

Why. Why not. Any compelling reasons whatsoever one way or another?
hindumonkey.bsky.social
If you're gonna wank in plain sight, at least draw the curtains
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Yeah I like it and I'd be looking at something similar if I didnt have my BB still. So am slightly spreading funds with a view to then turn one of the attackers to cheap fodder and upgrade elsewhere.
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Not the worst idea

But it's up there
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Really did enjoy Life of Chuck. Not typical King fare but thought it was really nicely done.
hindumonkey.bsky.social
I hate spending cash in goal as think the value is better used on players who can get attacking returns.

I dont love Petrovic but hes probably the best of the 4.5s short term and no chance I'm spending say the same on Raya when I get get Timber
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Dubs Petro
Timb Gabs Munoz Burn Rodon
Sarr Semen X X X
X Pedro Haaland

Is where I'm at. So 3 mids up for grabs really depending on what I can squeeze in.

I prefer the cheaper Petro/Burn combo to the more fashionable Pope/Senesi

Committed to Munoz being a season keeper. BB GW9 likely
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Mostly set on my wildcard

But umming and arring over the 3rd strikers and 4th/5th mids

Bowen, Wolt, Sesko, Larsen
Then 2 of Enzo, Kudus, Minteh, Ndiaye, Eze, Rice or Saka and cheap fodder

Really difficult
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Anything is achievable in story mode mate
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Oh of course ha ha. Was just for effect. Combat is impossible in black and white 😆
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Yes. Adds to it and improves on it in every week. Mainly in terms or more free flowing combat and better, more organic world exploration.
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Absolute cinema.

Ghost of Yotei. Kurosawa mode.
hindumonkey.bsky.social
4 players and 4 bookings in the 2pm kick offs

Honest work
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Im not bothered about our CBS

Yoro MDL Martinez is fine. And the latter fixes a lot of problems by stepping into Midfield.

Casemiro is playing well in the main. We have been garbage when he hasn't started.

Two new WBs and a long term DCM and we can build.
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Yeah. Ultimately next two games will decide his fate. Away against a faltering Liverpool and then home to Brighton who have been a massive bogie team for us.

Dalot was dreadful. Amad finally played well tbf. We really need proper WBs and I think we'll get one and maybe Baleba in Jan.
hindumonkey.bsky.social
Yes it was only Sunderland at home, but there were two massive positives from Utds win yesterday

A keeper who actually commanded his box. It is inexplicable that he hasn't started until now

A striker who can hold it up, bring in players and take his chances. Sesko was the MOM and won us the game.
