I am still unlearning said bad habits now that I am out of those circumstances...it's quite difficult but since then I've made a lot of progress. In doing so I've learned to love my art and keep refining it, all while looking back at my old art and appreciating how far I've come

As someone who used to be in a friend group that was nice on the outside and toxic on the inside

I really had bad habits of putting myself down because I kept comparing my art and skill to my ex peers' works to the where I ended up either not drawing for a while/drawing shittier than before
