Tassel of Rooted Force
Wondrous item (weapon charm), uncommon
A woven green-and-gold tassel, knotted with threads of vine bark and hair from a white stag.
The tassel can be attached to any wooden (GM determines if a weapon qualifies) melee weapon's handle as an action.
While the tassel is tied, you can use an action to speak a command word and cast shillelagh.
Once the tassel is used in this way, it can’t be used until the next dawn.

Lurepetal Orchid, a CR 1/8 plant creature
These radiant orchids usually bloom innocuously from a mossy log. Their flowers gently pulse, releasing a sweet, dizzying scent that lures in potential prey. But when approached, their petals open, releasing a burst of choking rot and launching needle-like spines.

Peryton's Perch.
Skies darken. Wings beat. Heart skips. Hunt begins.

Tactics: The Winged Whirlwind. A perilous peryton never stops moving in a fight. It strikes like a gale, scattering prey with powerful wingbeats, snatching foes into the air with its talons, then dropping them into the chaos below. Its deafening screeches disorient, and its glare can freeze the bravest heart with terror.

Quest Hook: The Master’s Pet. A paranoid mage hires the party to protect their mountain observatory from “assassins.” In truth, the mage simply wants a chance to test their newest “pet”—a perilous peryton bound by a fragile magical pact. If the fight goes poorly for the creature, the mage might intervene.
Quest Hook: The Feeding Grounds. A remote cliffside village pays tribute to a hidden master—a perilous peryton who keeps lesser perytons and eyasses in its eyrie. The villagers lure travelers to the edge of the peryton’s hunting range, ensuring they never return, robbing the dead afterward.

Encounter: A Pound of Meat. Weeks after the party defeats a perilous peryton, not knowing to burn its heart, they wake to the beating of wings. The one they killed has returned, but this time, it doesn’t attack right away. It follows the adventurers, teasing, harassing, and strikes when they are most vulnerable, becoming a danger until it claims a heart.
