I've finally seen a live tanuki racoon in Japan (after recently failing to see any even at Tama Zoo). Where? Running past the entrance to my building. Could also hear others screeching away. Didn't get a chance to photo it. I wonder if they like popcorn 🤔😂

Not sure what happened to the Meitetsu train as the route was different, but we didn't stand a chance against a shinkansen that zipped past us 😂

On a JR Central train, seemingly in a race with a Meitetsu one. We beat them to Ichinomiya.

Been at Sekigahara today watching things to do with the battle. Funniest part was when the people dressed up as the various factions tried to get people to support them through jokes and joining in with singing...

Seven and a half hours of musicians and singers playing/singing REBECCA songs. Also, one of the guitarists, who I got to chat to and get a signed CD of, used to be in the band. The bar even had melon-sour - somehow this was a first for me... and a second 😉😂 What an incredible day.

Pretty sure that's not the reason. Highly questionable that she should be seen as a figurehead for women. There are a lot of Japanese women on social media who are hoping she doesn't get appointed as PM.

I went back to my favourite cat cafe. First time since they've moved into a bigger place. They also sell merch now to help fund their cat shelter.
They cat which always scratched me in the past, it can't use its back legs after being abused by a person, rushed over to me to be stroked 🥲🥲🥲

Gotta love it when about the closest restaurant to your accommodation in Osaka is an okonomiyaki restaurant.

I went to EXPO today. I'll post something about it at some stage. But, honestly, the highlight of the day was probably coming across a stray (probably) cat. Luckily (well, luck played no part... I was prepared 😂), I had some cat food with me. My dinner had to wait 😂
