52 Frames Challenge: “A shadow has to be the main subject of the picture.” I have no idea what produced this shadow. But it is interesting. Again, I made use of my smartphone instead of my DSLR camera. #52frames_shadows
52 Frames Week 39 challenge is “Soundtrack!” or “…to choose a song and create an image that feels like it—let lyrics, mood, or genre guide your storytelling.” There must be a song somewhere about a frog playing a musical instrument. #52frames_soundtrack
52 Fames weekly challenge: One Light Source! The single source of light was a flood light on the house illuminating the fence. #52frames_onelightsource
This week’s 52 Frames challenge is “...take a photo that captures the feeling of something (or someone) being out of place.” Empty wine bottles do not belong in a garden (I will ignore the broken plate). #52Frames_outofplace
This week’s 52 Frame challenge is to take a photo from an elevated perspective — looking down at your subject. Shot looking down into the large exhibit area at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. #52Frames_shootfromabove
This week’s 52 Frames challenge was to take a photo that uses a reflection in your composition — water, glass, mirrors, or any reflective surface. I captured a reflection in the microwave. # 52Frames_reflections
This week’s 52 Frames challenge: “low key” a photo that has more dark than light. Taken at the Michigan State Capital. This is a gas light fixture that has been electrified. #52Frames_lowkey
This week’s 52 Frames challenge is “…to create a photo that evokes the idea of something “abandoned.” I saw this 'abandoned' steps at our swim club. The shadows made a nice touch. #52Frames_abandoned
This week’s 52 frames challenge is to capture a macro or extreme close-up photo that reveals details we wouldn't ordinarily see. I took this picture of a gate at a local farm. #52Frames_macro
52 Frames Challenge: Change the White Balance - In ancient times, the only way to control the white balance was to change the light source, use a very specific type of film or use a filter. Today, I changed the white balance, made the picture warmer, using software. #52Frames_colortemperature
Normally, I would have centered the flower and did some post production work in Photoshop but the 52 Frames challenge was an 'Unusual Crop' which only allowed editing when taking the photo. #52Frames_unusualcrop
This week’s 52 Frames challenge was to do something “new. My 'new' was a Nikkor 55-200mm lens, set the zoom to 200mm, attached a polarizing filter and then attached 3.5X telephoto lens adapter since I did not have a 72mm polarizing filter. And used a rather slow shutter speed. #52Frames_somethingnew
52 Frame Challenge -"You have 7 days to take a photo inspired by the style of a visual artist—without directly copying it."
Since I am not familiar with painting styles "In the style of.....," I took a closeup photo of flowers and changed it to black and white. #52frame_inthestyleof
Other photos not used for 5r2 Frames challenge of a picture within a picture. #52Frames_framewithinaframe
This week's 52 Frames “challenge is about embracing softness, motion, and flow.” Taken from Greenwood Park Swim Club looking out into Bells Lake, NJ. I like how the photo shows the fluidness (??) of the water. The photo would not 'work' absent the grill in the foreground. #52frames_fluid
This week's 52 Frames Challenge is to take a picture of a daily ritual. My daily ritual is to pray each morning. #52frames_dailyritual
52 Weeks assignment - use the 'wrong lens' No one said that the lens had to be a camera lens. Took 2 magnifying glasses one above the other. #52frames_usethewronglens
52 frames challenge: Week 22: Through The Looking Glass! I don't know which is the subject - the reflection off of the glass or the people on the other side of the glass. #52frames_throughthelookingglass
52 Frames challenge High ISO (use fast film). Saxophone player at outside night dinner at IL Mare resort restaurant Battellio in Curacao. #52frames_higiso, #Zoetry.
