Aya Shameimaru
- Hurricane! Whirlwind! Aya Shameimaru!
Speed, movement, and dodge ability are the name of Aya's game and she does it better than everyone else in the cast, at the cost of damage. If you need to get somewhere FAST, stick someone to her back and cast Accel with Aya. Schmovement.

Yuuka Kazami
- She'll Be Back Later.
Yuuka joins temporarily, and won't rejoin until...basically the end. But while you have her she's uh...immortal? Like I don't think I've ever seen her die. Her combination of skills and stats is patently absurd. Out of the box best unit in the game.

Momiji Inubashiri
- WOLF X SWORD
Momiji's claim to fame is her incredibly reliable Shield Defense procs. Stick her in the frontline to draw aggro or protect other units and she'll do it with the best of them. Not quite a super, but not quite a real either, she's a strange balance.

Three Fairies of Light(Sunny Milk, Luna Child, & Star Sapphire)
- Fairy Overdrive
As standalone units, the troublesome trio are...pretty bad, actually. But by their powers combined they are bar none one of the most Cost effecient units in the game with an amazing spirit pool. Use all 3 or none.

Fujiwara No Mokou
- Die Hard, Again and Again
Mokou hits hard. REALLY, REALLY hard. She's frail and explodes easily. Thankfully she's Immortal. No seriously, she revives a certain amount of times per map for free! One of her attacks is just the Akashic Buster.

Sakuya Izayoi
- Time Stopping Support Attacker
Sakuya is a terrific all rounder. Her only major flaw is that her damage tends to fall off in the late game but she can Support Attack for herself! This doesn't prevent her partner from also team attacking. She's kinda like if Amuro was a maid.

Hong Meiling
- Tank of the Scarlet Devil
Meet Meiling. She doesn't Die. Her job is to Not Die. A melee attacker who Just Doesn't Die Ever. Her personal skill ratchets her defense up to absurd levels as her hp gets lower. Her best skill? Taking no damage. She's SRW 30 Suzaku.

Elly
- Unbreaking Backpack
Elly's great. She does good damage, tanks ok, and most importantly, ferries slower units around the map once pairing up is available to you with access to Accel. Protecting the frontline with an autocasted Grit. Stick her to someone's back and watch them fly.

Kurumi
- PC-98 Returns, Nonetheless!
Kurumi is a pure support unit. Invaluable on higher difficulties because one of her skills, Break The Sabbath, prevents enemies from defending after using it. Otherwise she's kind of weak with a good spirit list for support. She's your favorite GM pilot

Cirno
- The Strongest, Most Surprising Tank
Despite being a small size unit, Cirno tanks WAY better than she has any right to with access to Grit(take 10 damage instead of normal). She has decent damage, a good barrier, and Hp Regen! She's kind of like the Turn A of all things.

Daiyousei
- Healbot 9000
Meet Daiyousei. She's the best healbot in the game. She gets a spirit list almost dedicated to healing and support, and her heal command can heal both units in a pair eventually. Imagine how the Methuss plays these days with even better support

Rumia
- The Nighttime Laser Blocker
Part 1 of Team Nineball, Rumia is actually...pretty good? She has two main ways to go: enabling all the Night terrain specialists or full tank that just ignores lasers. She's basically a Heavy Metal.

Youmu Konpaku
- There Is Nothing She Cannot Cut
Your first well and true melee attacker. Youmu is a blitzer, she's approaching your location rapidly and has several things that boost that and support her endeavors. She's kind of like if the Alteisen were a cute samurai half ghost.

Alice Margatroid
- Crit Machine
Alice leans into one particular role and does it insanely well: Critting. Her unique skill gives her 15% more damage on crits and she has effecient MP usage and a great Spirit list. Her combo attack with Marisa is particularly effecient! She's the Zeta, basically.

EX Keine Kamishirasawa(Full Moon)
- JOKES ON YOU SHE GETS TWO POSTS
Keine with the power of her gimmick, Hakutaku Mode! She goes from a kind of ok Super to a MP Guzzling Nuker with high Power(will) requirements. She does mondo damage but her mobility and movement are REALLY bad. Invest for success

Keine Kamishirasawa
- The Gimmick Haver
Keine's weird. For most of the first 1/3 of the game she's a tanky Super type character. High HP, high armor, levels of Support Defend and good size and damage modifiers. She falls off......until her gimmick activates. She's a weird Grungust

Marisa Kirisame
- Protagonist the Second, she of ALL the friendship bonuses
Your other Real Robot protagonist but Marisa trades Reimu's ability to dodge tank with ability to Delete. She still dodges pretty well. Her upgrade gives her the Stoner Sunshine of Shin Getter Fame. Kind of.

Reimu Hakurei
- Protagonist The First
She's your dodgy Real Type Identified Flying Maiden. Think the Nu Gundam, with slightly less damage! She slices, she dices, she doges 80% of everything. Later, upgrades into effectively the Nu Gundam Heavy Weapons System.
